On the following map you can see the size of Kruger National Park. It is the largest national park in Africa with an area of 20,000 sq km located in the northeast of South Africa in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The Kruger National Park stretches from the Crocodile River in the south to the Limpopo river and the border to Mozambique. If you decide to drive from the southern part of the Kruger Park to the top, you will have driven a total of 350 km. You will need about three to four days to do this. The East-West distance of the Kruger Park is about 54 km wide, which can be crossed easily with a day trip.
