Shangana Culture Village & Marula Market near the Kruger National Park
The beautiful village of the Shangana is near Hazyview on the R 535. Native arts and crafts are sold there on the Marula Market. Guided tours lead you to the village and the homes to the Shangaan families. Day Tour - Guests will be guided to the Chief and his kraal hut. A guide explains the life and culture of the Shagaan. Further, the the sangoma (African healer) is visited, where traditional medicinal plants are explained which can be found in the area.

Festive evening - Flaming torches appear from the chief's kraal in a special light. Singers and dancers of the Shangaan will show you a different aspect of the African culture. During the demonstration, home-brewed beer and snacks are served. During the break, traditional dinner iwll be served at the huts. The evening promises to be a moving and unforgettable African experience. Taking photographs in encouraged!
