Travel Day 1. South Africa – Mpumalanga, Swaziland - Hlane Royal National Park
Early in the morning, we meet with the group in Johannesburg and make our way towards Swaziland via Mpumalange. Once we reach the Kingdom of Swaziland, we drive to the Hlane Royal National Park. This nature reserve is the largest in the area with about 30,000 hectares of land. You will be able to view lions, elephants and white rhinos. You also have the opportunity to participate in various other activities*.

Travel Day 2. Hlane Royal National Park
The Hlane Royal National Park was once the private hunting grounds of the royal family of Swaziland. Today, the region is held in trust and managed by major game parks. You have the opportunity to walk in the park, as the lions are kept in fenced enclosures. During the dinner, locals will perform traditional Swazi dancing.

Travel Day 3. Mozambique - Praia do Tofo
Today we leave the kingdom in the direction of Mozambique and drive along the beautiful coastline. In Praia Do Tofo we get our accommodation for the two upcoming nights. Here, you have the opportunity to either relax on the white sandy beach or participate in a diving or snorkeling course at one of the most beautiful places in Africa*. In any event, it will be an unforgettable experience for you!

Travel Day 4. Praia do Tofo
In the peak season Praia do Tofo is one of the world's best places for for marine wildlife viewing. With a little luck, you will see the biggest fish in the world, the whale shark. The 4th Travel day is free, and you can enjoy the many tourist attractions of the place*.

Travel Day 5. Vilanculos
One of the highlights of Mozambique is the Bazaruto Archipelago. This paradise offers unspoilt nature, miles of beaches, an intact underwater world with thriving coral reefs and very friendly people. On you diving trips you can discover more than 2,000 fish species and 100 species of coral. From here, we drive to Vilanculos and make a short stop at a local artisan market to buy small souvenirs.

Travel Day 6. Bazaruto-Archipel National Park
In Bazaruto, we will be onboard of a local sailing ship called the dhow. We sail along the African coast and the beautiful islands. This gives you the opportunity snorkel or swim in crystal clear water or simply relax on the beach. The archipelago is one of the largest marine park in Africa. The night will be spend in a pension

Travel Day 7. Bazaruto Archipel National Park
On the second day of your stay at the Archipel National Park, you go on an expedition to explore the enchanting area. Besides relaxing you can participate in a variety of sports, especially scuba diving and deep sea fishing. Further, there are a variety of motorized water sports such as water skiing, sailing, kayaking or windsurfing. For the land-lovers you can relax at the beach or take part in serveral adventure such as tours to the island's wildlife, crocodile spotting tours or even Dune-boarding. Should the weather be bad, we will continue with another boat to the next destination.

Travel Day 8./9. Inhambane
On this day we travel through coconut plantations to an old Portuguese settlement, Inhambane. This coastal region is situated at the mouth of the Rio Matumba providing top quality beaches. Here too, there are numerous activities such as fishing and horseback riding*.

Travel Day 10. Maputo
From Inhambane, we travel to the capital of Mozambique, Maputo. Here we take part in a sightseeing tour, including the Fortress of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao and Central Station. In 1975, Mozambique became independent from the Portuguese.

Travel Day 11./12. South Africa - Kruger National Park
From Mozambique we go back to South Africa where we will travel to the world famous Kruger National Park, the most famous nature reserve in the world. Here we spend the next two days with the observation of nature, wildlife, and with some luck we will see the Big 5 of Africa. Further, you should not miss the night trips and the hike at sunrise*.

Travel Day 13. Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
In the early morning, we drive to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. These animals are found injured and weak and are nurtured back to health until they can be reintroducted into the wild. During dinner, we will enjoy in typical African cuisine as well as local songs and dances!

Travel Day 14. Panorama Route - Johannesburg
An early morning hike will be done with a guide where you will experience the countryside before our tour takes us to the spectacular Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon. This is the third largest canyon in the world, with breathtaking views of God's Window and the beautiful Three Rondavels. In good weather we will have a view into Mozambique. We will also visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, which is another highlight of our trip. Afterwards, we go back in the direction of Johannesburg where the tour ends.
