We meet in Johannesburg and drive to the world famous Kruger National Park. Here we go on several game drives in search of the Big 5. On the way back, we drive along the panoramic route with a stop at Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon. Our safari ends in Johannesburg. Travel Day 1. Kwa Madwale Reserve We depart in the early morning from Johannesburg and travel through the northern province of Mpumalanga in the direction of the breathtaking Kruger National Park. In the afternoon, we arrive in the Kwa Madwale Game Reserve to the south of Kruger Park where we'll pitch our tents. Then we will go on a 3 hour game drive. During the dinner, local dances will be shown so you can experience part of the African culture.

Travel Day 2. Kruger National Park Awakened by the sun, we start with a morning stroll through the neighborhood before we make our way to the Kruger National Park. After storing everything in the rooms, we will enjoy the afternoon with our safari truck in a very exciting game drive. On our safari, you will certainly enjoy the best of luck and see the Big 5 along with other wildlife. The safari vehicle gives us a higher view of the bush in order to have a better chance to view more wildlife. On Travel Day 3, we again venture into the Kruger National Park. Do not forget the camera and keep an open mind, because with the open 4x4 vehicle and lots of luck, we will find the Big 5 of Africa (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and Buffalo know) along with many other wild animals and birds.

Travel Day 4. Panorama Route - Johannesburg Early in the morning we invite you to a guided walking safari with a ranger* before we leave the national park. Our tour takes you to the spectacular Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon. This is the third largest canyon in the world with breathtaking views from God's window and the beautiful Three Rondavels. In good weather we will have a view into Mozambique. We will also visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, which is another highlight of our trip. Afterwards, we go back in the direction of Johannesburg where the tour ends. Many of our groups spent the last evening together at a local restaurant*. * optional activities at additional cost: Morning Hike with rangers, Dinner at a local restaurant.

Meals: Our safari vehicles have a bush kitchen. Expect good food, but not a 5 star menu!

If you are in Cape Town, Knysna, Port Elizabeth, Durban or elsewhere in South Africa, we will be happy to book domestic flights to Johannesburg for you. Furthermore, it is also possible that you drive to Johannesburg with your own rental car. We are happy to assist you to book a flight or get a cheap rental car. If you need a flight from Europe to South Africa, we can provide that through our travel agency in Munich.
