Travel Day 1. Stellenbosch Wine Route / Swellendam
After, you have met your guide in Cape Town, we continue towards the Spier Wine Estate. There you will have the opportunity to taste some of the best wines of South Africa. A visit to the cheetah breeding program is also a memorable experience. You will also be amazed by the fascinating mountains of the area. We set up our camp in Swellendam and during the dinner, the guide will inform you about the upcoming days.

Travel Day 2. Cango Caves and Oudtshoorn
Today we will visit the world famous Cango Caves. The caves contain spectacular halls, large limestone formations. A local guide you will explain everything about the cave system which stretches over 4 km. In the afternoon we head to Oudtshoorn and where we will set up camp.

Travel Day 3. Knysna
This morning we offer you the opportunity to visit a local ostrich farm*. We then drive along the Garden Route to Knysna. Keep a watchful eye when you arrive at Mossel Bay as you may be able to see whales and dolphins. In one of the most popular resorts in South Africa, Knysna, you can explore the city.

Travel Day 4./5. Bloukrans und Tsitsikamma National Park
Today, we leave for the Tsitsikamma National Park. The name literally means "water-rich place". However, it not only includes the wide strip of coastal waters but also the original forest on land. The dense forest with old, up to 40 meters tall trees is one of the last ancient forests of South Africa. In this area there is the famous multi-day Otter Trail, on which your guide will accompany on the first section*. Other activities are also available.

Travel Day 6. Addo Elephant National Park
The Addo Elephant National Park is located near Port Elizabeth and is both a land and a marine park. It is also the home of the "Big Seven" (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, whale and white shark) and is home to one of the highest concentration of African elephants on Earth. Enjoy an unforgettable safari where you can watch Africa's wildlife.

Travel Day 7./8. Hogsback
After a last game drive in the early morning, we leave the Addo National Park and drive towards Port Elizabeth and Hogsback. Here we will find some of the original Afro-montane rain forests. On the second day in Hogsback, we invite you to a guided hike with our guide. You decide whether to explore the Swallow Falls, Bridal Veil Falls or Madonna & Child Falls.

Travel Day 9./10. Lesotho - Malealea
In the early morning we travel into the interior of South Africa Lesotho, the "Kingdom in Heaven". It is with its 1000m above sea level among the highest in the world. On the second day in Lesotho, we invite you to a pony trekking excursion*. Accompanied by a local guide, we ride into the remote mountains of the country. Following this adventure, the group visits a local village and the school.

Travel Day 11./12. Drakensberg Ukhahlamba Park
We continue to the interior towards the Royal Natal National Park. This park is part of the powerful and incredibly beautiful Drakensberg. They are the highest mountain range in South Africa with an altitude over 3,000 meters. On the second day we take a guided hike to the San rock paintings. More hikes through this incredibly beautiful mountains is a must if you have not already booked other optional activities*.

Travel Day 13. Kwa-Zulu Natal Cost - Durban
We leave the beautiful mountains and drive towards the Kwazulu Natal coast to Durban. Durban is home to the largest naval port of South Africa's and is known to be an excellent surfing area. Here you will have dinner at a local restaurant*. Durban is known for its Indian food, since it has the largest Indian population outside India.

Travel Day 14. iSimangaliso Wetland Park
After our arrival at the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, we join a boat trip. During the sunset we can watch the hippos and various birds on the lagoons. This area is recognized by UNESCO and includes inter alia, lakes, beaches, coral reefs, wetlands, forests, meadows and provides habitats for a wide variety of animal, bird and marine life.

Travel Day 15. Hluhluwe - Umfolozi Game Reserve - Swaziland - Mlilwane
In our 4x4 vehicles, we continue to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi game reserve for a 4 hour game drive. This reserve is the only national park in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, where it is the Big 5 can be seen. Due to many conservation efforts, the park now has the world's largest population of white rhinos. In the afternoon we will reach Swaziland.

Travel Day 16. Swaziland - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
The Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Swaziland's oldest national park and has about 4560 hectares. There are no large predators, and thus self-guided walking tours are available. On a hike you can get closer to the unique landscape and learn more about the flora and fauna. Dinner will be accompanied by traditional Swazi dancing.

Travel Day 17./18. South Africa - Kruger National Park
We leave Swaziland and move us towards the north to the Kruger National Park where we spend two exciting days of game viewing, as the Kruger National Park is home to the Big 5 of Africa, as well as other beautiful African animals. On our elevated trucks we have the advantage to have a better view of the surroundings and allows you to see more animals.

Travel Day 19. Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
In the early morning, we will drive towards the famous nature reserve in the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Here injured animals are nursed back to health and then released back into the wild. At dinner we will enjoy the typical South African cuisine while traditional songs and dances are performed.

Travel Day 20. Panorama Route - Johannesburg
Our tour takes you to the spectacular Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon. It is the third largest canyon in the world, with breathtaking views of groups such as God's Window and the beautiful Three Rondavels. In good weather, we will have a sight into Mozambique. We will also be visiting Bourke's Luck Potholes, which is another highlight on our trip. Afterwards, we go back in the direction of Johannesburg where the tour ends. Many of our groups spent the last evening together at a local restaurant. This will, however, remains up to you*.
