Travel Day 1. South Africa - Cederberg Mountain Region
We start in Cape Town and make a stop at the famous Bloubergstrand to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Table Mountain. After a wine tasting at an organic winery, we continue to the Cederberg region. There we have the chance to visit the San Rock Art with a local guide. In the late afternoon, we will arrive at our accommodation, where the tour guide will provide much more information about the upcoming safari.

Travel Day 2. Namibia - Gariep (Oranje)
On the 2nd travel day we drive through the Northern Cape, Namaqualand, with a short stop in the remote town of Springbok . Just past the Gariep River, which forms the border between South Africa and Namibia, our beautiful accommodation, the chalets, are located and overlook the border river.

Travel Day 3. Gariep (Orange) River - Fish River Canyon
This morning we invite you to a canoe trip on the Gariep River* or you can spend some relaxing hours in the camp near the river. After lunch, we continue north to the Fish River Canyon. There we have a scenic walk along the cliff edge to get an idea of ​​how big this natural phenomena actually is. After the walk we drive back to Ai-Ais, find our accommodation, where you can enjoy the hot springs.

Travel Day 4. Ai-Ais - Kokerboom Forest
Today visit the Kokerboom Forest, which is located in the Kalahari Desert of Namibia. This quiver tree was used by the indigenous Khoisan people for their arrows. In the afternoon, the possibility of some historical site seeing* in the courtyard of our accommodation is possible or you can witness the sunset in the Kalahari*.

Travel Day 5. Namib-Naukluft Park
One of the geographical gems of Namibia is definitely the Namib-Naukluft National Park. It contains the Sossusvlei, a desert with huge sand dunes and a remarkable landscape. After an optional morning ritual with the Xung*, we travel through the Namib and stay outside the park.

Travel Day 6. Tag Namib – Naukluft National Park
The 6th travel day is spent in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The day starts with a trip to Sossusvlei, where we explore the region and the guide informs us about the ecosystem. Later, we reach the dune 45, which you can climb up to have a breathtaking view over the dunes. In the afternoon, we take a short walk in the Sesriem Canyon. After our return to Hammerstein, you can watch the wild cats* and spend some time relaxing.

Travel Day 7./8. Swakopmund
On the route from the Atlantic coast to the inland, we cross the Tropic of Capricorn. Our first stop is in Walvis Bay, where we will spot some flamingos. From there, we continue to Swakopmund, the adventure capital of Namibia. Here you have the opportunity to participate in optional activities. Some are listed below.

Travel Day 9. Kamanjab - Himba Tribe
Today, we travel to the interior of the country of Namibia - Kamanjab where we will experience the life of a Himba tribe. The Himba are known for breeding cattle and goats. Due to the unique style of clothing, they are easily identifiable. The Himba people are anxious to defend the roots of their culture, but also very curious to meet people from all over the world. Before photographing the Himba, you should politely ask, as they are very proud people.

Travel Day 10./11. Etosha National Park
The Etosha National Park will bring you closer to the wildlife in Africa. Since the safari truck is elevated, you will have a big chance to the many wild animals. The bungalow rooms are located inside the national park in Okaukuejo and / or Halali. Both have night-lit water holes, where animals come to drink regularly.

Travel Day 12. Windhoek
In the morning, we set off towards Windhoek, which is the capital of Namibia. On the way we stop at a craft market, where one can buy handcrafted African art. The City of Windhoek is not only the capital but also the social, economic and cultural center of Namibia. When we arrived in Windhoek, we take a short city tour. We also visit "Joe's Beer House" 'at the edge of the center, where we can order the biggest steak in the country*.

Travel Day 13. Botswana - Ghanzi
Early in the morning, we continue our safari and cross the border into Botswana heading towards Ghanzi. After we have arrived at the lodge in Ghanzi, we will have the chance to experience traditional tribal dances of the indigenous San community.

Travel Day 14./15./16. Maun - Okavango Delta
Our tour takes us from Ghanzi towards Maun. Maun is our gateway to the Okavango Delta, which is 20,000 square miles and the largest & most diverse wetland in Africa. We stay a night in Maun and make all the arrangements for our trip. Small planes transport us over this amazing area to our camp at Moremi Crossing. From the lodge you will already see the wildlife in the delta before we participate in a walk with a local ranger. In the afternoon there is a guided boat tour. If the water level allows, we will also use a Mokoro on his journey.

Travel Day 17. Gweta
We leave the Okavango Delta by Scenic Air transfer. In the afternoon we arrive at our accommodations at Planet Baobab. Here, you have the opportunity to explore the bush and the majestic baobab trees.

Travel Day 18. Chobe National Park
We travel towards Chobe National Park where we will participate in a river cruise and experience a sunset in which the wild animals are best observed from the Chobe River. Elephants, hippos, crocodiles, eland and many other wild animals can be observed.

Travel Day 19. Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls
When we arrive at Victoria Falls, you will have enough time to plan activities and to experience new adventures. Then we will visit the largest waterfalls in Africa: You can admire the hiss, rumble and roar of the mighty Zambezi River.

Travel Day 20. Victoria Falls
Many of our groups to spend the day bungee jumping or white water rafting. An unforgettable experience! White Water Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Elephant riding, walking with lions, horseback riding, dinner, the helicopter flights and any opther optional activities are not included in the price!

Travel Day 21. Palapye / Martinsdrift
Today at 6:00, the safari tour continues from the Elephant Hills Hotel at the Victoria Falls towards Palapye in Botswana. After a short stay, we then head further south to the border town of Martinsdrift. Once there, we spend the night at a popular campsite.

Travel Day 22. Johannesburg
On 22nd Travel day, we again start travelling around 6 am. The roads in South Africa are mostly well maintained and therefore we expect a relatively early arrival in Johannesburg. In Johannesburg, you should allow plenty of time to enjoy one of the many restaurants in the area.

Travel Day 23. Kwa Madwale Reserve
Early morning we depart from Johannesburg and travel through the northern province of Mpumalanga in the direction of the breathtaking Kruger National Park. In the afternoon we arrive in the Kwa Madwale Game Reserve to the south of Kruger Park where we'll pitch our tents. Then it's going on a 3 hour game drive. The dinner will be accompanied by local dances.

Travel Day 24. Kruger National Park
Awakened by the sun, we start with a morning stroll through the neighborhood before we make our way to the Kruger National Park. After setting up the rooms, we will enjoy the afternoon on our elevated safari trucks which gives us a better chance to spot more wildlife. Depending on local availability, we offer you the opportunity of a night game drive with a qualified ranger*.

Travel Day 26. Panorama Route - Johannesburg
We leave the national park in the early morning. The tour takes you to the spectacular Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon: The third largest canyon in the world, with breathtaking views of groups such as the God's window and the beautiful Three Rondavels. In good weather we will have a sight up to Mozambique. We will also visit Bourke's Luck Potholes - another highlight on our trip. Then we go back in the direction of Johannesburg where the tour ends.
