The lodge is located in St. Lucia, where the adjacent wetland was declared a world cultural heritage of South Africa. The Umfolozi and Hluhluwe Game Reserve is also within easy reach.

Directions

From Durban, you can reach us via the N 2 in 2.5 hours by car. Johannesburg Travel time is about 6.5 hours. Richards Bay is situated about 90 km from our guesthouse.

Catering

We offer a full breakfast in our lodge. A number of restaurants are located nearby as well. After consultation, we also serve traditional South African cuisine.

Our location

Our lodge has a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, and the Umfolozi River mouth Mapelane, as well as a portion of the famous Lake St. Lucia.

Each self-catering unit has a private garden & entrance, covered terrace with table and chairs and a barbecue.

The accommodations are spacious and comfortable. One-and two-bedroom units are available with a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen along with a dining area and a living room with TV.

All units are air conditioned and are cleaned daily.

A secured swimming pool is situated behind the accommodation. You can park your car right in front of the property.

Our accommodation prices range from R 450 per person for an apartment with kitchen for self catering. B & B from R 690 per person. Children under 5 are exempt from the accommodation costs. Children under 12 pay half price. A full breakfast costs R 95 and children under 12 pay R85 for breakfast. All rates are non-binding and graded according to the season.
