The Tanda Tula Safari Camp is situated in the Timbavati Nature Reserve, on the outskirts of Kruger National. It is also closely located near the Thornybush Reserve, Manyeleti, Klaserie, Kapama Makalali. Here other first class game lodges are located. All private reserves have no fences and the wild animals can move freely up to the Kruger Park.
The Timbavati Game Reserve has become famours for its white lions. These are not albinos but they have a genes, which make them grow white fur. Particularly interesting is the white mane of the lion. You will not find these beautiful animals in the wild anymore. The "Shangaan'', the original inhabitants of the Kruger National Park, these lions were worshiped, because it was believed that they were sent from God.
In recent years, Tanda Tula is used for the Elephant Protection Project Elephant. The migratory behavior of elephant herds will be investigated scientifically, so wildlife protection organisations can better protect these animals. During your visit you will learn more about the project.

Tanda Tula is the most luxurious tent camp in the Kruger National Park and has been honored several times by radio, newspapers and television. It is a 5 star accommodation in the bush, in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve on the borders of Kruger National Park Since the private camp has only 12 luxury tents, it has not lost the charm of a luxury accommodation. Hospitality, friendly staff and an award-winning restaurant complete the luxury range. The Safari Camp is located at a water point at Nharalumi riverbed. Here you can observe wild animals in the early morning hours. |

Each property has a small wooden deck overlooking the waterhole. All properties are widely apart. Further, each luxury tent has a large bathroom with Victorian decor. Shower facilities are hidden from view so that you can shower in the middle of nature and enjoy the flora and fauna. In the evening, when the stars of Africa are lighting up the sky, we invite you to our boma - a traditional African dinner. Here a dinner awaits for you with an open fire. We also have a thatched lounge area and a bar where you can watch the animals coming to the water hole to drink. A swimming pool is available and a gift shop offers many souvenirs that you can bring back home. |
