There is a wide range of different accommodation types available in the Kruger National Park. We provide game lodges, hotels, golf accommodation, guest houses, B & B and holiday homes - all located in and around the Kruger Park. Several camps offer basic accommodation and holiday homes. Outside of the Kruger Park, you can find first class vacation homes on a golf courses or you can choose to stay in a guest house, which provides fully equipped kitchens.
In addition, we offer a wide variety of different accommodations in many camps located in the Kruger National Park - these are of simple nature. However, we also offer luxury accommodations where you will stay in lodges in the Kruger Park or its outskirts. Difference between a Lodge and a Game Lodge?
The difference between a lodge and a Game Lodge is the following: Game lodges are in a game reserve where you can directly observe the wildlife. A lodge is located in or outside the Kruger Park and usually there is no game viewing possible.
Rules in Kruger Park
Even if you live directly in a camp, driving into the national park at night is prohibited. After the sun sets the wild animals should not be disturbed. Some tour operators have special permits which allow them to venture into the park for a night safari. Each camp has posted the visiting hours of the Kruger Park directly at the gate!
